I haven't had any breakthrough migraines since the start of this year. Considering how frustrated I was when I wrote my last migraine entry, that's a good update to be able to make.
I'm still taking Sandomigran, and I feel relatively fine. I don't have a new treatment or a particular discovery to write about. Things have just been better than they were when I was trying to work out why a severe migraine had broken through after a month without one.
In that entry, I wrote about the visual auras, the pain behind my eyes and having to lie down in a dark room. I was looking at sleep, stress and other possible triggers, trying to find a pattern. I still can't point to one explanation for why this year has been different.
I wanted to record this because the previous post only captures a bad day. It's easy to write when something is bothering me and then leave that as the last update, even when things improve. For now, the news is that I haven't had another breakthrough migraine this year, and I'm glad about that.
